Mr. Joaquin Ortiz (D.O.B. 22 MAR 22) joined the U.S. Army September 23rd. 1942. His occupation before entrance to the United Sates Army was that of a Cow Puncher in Sullivan City, TX. 

He was a combat infantryman, rifleman No. 745, later receiving the American Theater Campaign Medal, The Bronze Star for Good Conduct EAME World War II Victory Medal.  

His Foreign Service was for 1 yr., 1 month and 2 days.

His date of  departure was the 13th of December 1945 with an Honorable Discharge that took place at Camp Fannin, TX.
